As a result of a serious car accident in 2013 which left me with neck shoulder and back injuries, I have really struggled with my office chairs at work with a lack of structured support where I need it. Out of sheer desperation and after careful research, where I was very worried about paying so much for an office chair, I settled on the Doro 500. I am also very nervous about internet purchasing. Sihoo kept me up to date on the progress of delivery, that was a huge relief and arrived at the scheduled time. The chair it self was very easy to assemble. I have now had this chair in use for about 3 weeks now. I have found the chair very effective in providing both the neck and lumbar support I need while working anything up to a 10 hr shift. This has resulted in far less strain on both my neck and back while also being incredibly comfortable. I have been so impressed with this chair, I have just purchased the Doro 300 for use at home. This chair was discounted 500AUD, and that’s why I purchased. I paid 1200AUD. The chair is quality crafted from good materials and was simple to assemble. I’m pleased with the chair and do not regret the purchase. However, this chair is overpriced. Even at the discount price, it was too expensive. When people are inspired to invest in their own postural health and are priced out of that market, it’s a sorry affair. I’m lucky to be in a tax bracket that allowed me to purchase such luxuries. I’m pleased with the chair but I’m not happy about the purchase price.
amazing chair. however i noticed that because i have a slightly longer torso. the lumbar sits a bit too high when i adjust the back to my head level. additionally, there is a creak, resistance and a feeling where 2 metals are getting rubbed against each other on the left arm rest. the right arm rest is functioning just fine.
